JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope

Responsible for business development activities by developing marketing opportunities, preparing sales plans and budgets, managing customers’ relations and accounts receivable from customers.

Responsibilities

·  To develop marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

·  To prepare and implement action plans with Project and Engineering section with respect to customer production, productivity, quality, and related service standards; resolving problems.

·  To complete customer satisfaction audits; identifying trends; determining customer chilled water system improvements enabling DCP energy savings; implementing change.

·  To meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

·  To determine annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new customers; analyzing trends and results.

·  To establish and propose to the management pricing strategies; recommending tariff structures; by monitoring costs, competitors, supply, and demand prices of chilled water in Malaysia.

·  To achieve marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating, advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

·  To sustain rapport with key customers by making regular periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.

Requirements

·  Candidates must possess a Degree in Sales and Marketing or Engineering (M&E) or equivalent.

·  At least 7 – 10 years of working experience in sales and marketing with 3 years in sales and marketing for industrial products and/or services preferably in District Cooling Systems.
