JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
· Lead/co-lead the physical layout of full chip design/IP design by working closely with cross-functional team leaders
· Performing a range of back-end design activities, including floor-planning, clock and power distribution, place and route, timing analysis, physical verification, and chip integration
· Execute all critical layout quality check through layout design review milestones
· Working closely with circuit designers to solve tough physical integration challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with VLSI exposure or equivalent with 6 - 10 years (Staff Engineer) or more than 10 years (Senior Staff Engineer) of job experience in layout design field
- Knowledgeable in full-chip/block level place & route, floorplanning and timing analysis and closure
- Possess strong technical skills in physical layout development, debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good team player with excellent communication skills and good initiatives at work
