JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

To support the GM Marketing in the creation and implementation of the country Marketing plan across selected functions and to manage the deliverables.

Represent the company appropriately to all external sources.

Work to agreed corporate guidelines and ensure these are adhered to across the company.

Brand management

  • Managing all brand activities and development such as proprietary and house brands for the company.
  • Drive the development and execution of Fiscal Year brand plans, in alignment to pre-determined company imperatives.
  • Co-ordinating brand campaigns with consumer activities.
  • Monitoring the division budget and expenditure as per pre-determined.
  • Creation and publication of all brand material in line with pre-determined plans.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns related to proprietary / house brands.
  • Manage the Go-To-Market planning and brand events, communicating key brand and sales initiatives, and guiding the eventual market activations.
  • Ensure assigned brand assets are protected and its identity complied with.
  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for brand collaborations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Merchandize and Operations objectives are comprehensively supported by the brand marketing plans.
  • Manage all related creative assets and guidelines/toolkits generated for market activation.
  • Identify nationwide brand opportunities around Retail, Events, and Digital campaigns to amplify brand heat in the overall marketplace.

External and Internal Communications

  • Maintain effective external and internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives and to attend all inter-company meetings and provide a timely report.
  • Develop a PR plan as well as cultivate productive relationships with media owners.
  • Develop and manage a complaints / feedback management system
  • Conceptualize and execute an annual CSR plan

Research and Reporting

  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of brand initiatives by defining and implementing KPI metrics to collect accurate qualitative and quantitative ROI.
  • To design and execute consumer surveys, focus groups and other qualitative / quantitative research as and when required.
  • Ensure all brand activities are implemented on time and to budget, preparing timelines and keeping records for budgetary control.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel.
  • Understanding of branding and PR strategies.
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative brand activities as well as PR / customer management programs.
  • Understanding and proven application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as work planning, project management, delegating, coaching, mentoring & evaluating.
  • Degree holder in relevant field.
  • Those that are currently Assistant Marketing Managers, Brand or Product Managers and is seeking to reach a new level is welcome to apply.
  • Excellent writing skills and fluency in English and BM
  • Competent use of PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop
