JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
1. Evaluation and planning of non-standard automation solutions.
2. Risk assessment and contingency planning for automation solutions.
3. Mechanical design of automation equipment, jig/fixture design, part design, and design review.
4. Prototype assembly, debugging, on-site installation, troubleshooting, and design improvement for smooth replication and production launch.
5. Preparation of technical documents for automation equipment; responsible for patents and trade secrets of key equipment.
Requirements
1. Proficient in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, etc.
2. Independent solution evaluation and design capability.
3. Independent analysis and resolution of automation equipment issues.
4. Familiar with smartphone product development processes and manufacturing technologies.
5. Understanding of mechanical design principles; familiar with machining, pneumatics, sensors, motors, linear guides, ball screws, etc.
6. Strong project coordination, communication, and good technical risk prediction and mitigation.
7. Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Power Mechanical Engineering, or related
8. 10+ years of experience.
