JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence, securing new clients, and building strong relationships with key customers in his region. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to align sales and marketing efforts with company goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the medical devices industry, excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of products, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic direction for Dawn device portfolio in Malaysia, starting from General Surgery, Endoscopy and Urology.
  • Set and manage sales strategies for the accounts and execute the strategies through the sales channel.
  • Align with the Regional Sales and Marketing Director and Dawn device upstream team, and implement marketing objectives, policies, business model, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit.
  • Portfolio optimization for the accounts to ensure NPIs are launched timely to refresh current product offerings to customers.
  • Ensure effective tender process, hospital listing and customer service.
  • Manage, mentor and develop sales team to exceed sales goals.
  • Managing discount and pricing policy
  • Communicate and track short and long range sales and marketing plans.
  • Research new accounts and applications for volume growth.
  • Consistently promote and nurture the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and compliance at all times, including our Global Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology and science or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5 to 10 years of proven experience in business development and sales and team management within the medical device industry.
  • Experienced within the device categories, including Endoscopy, Urology & General Surgery
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the medical devices sector.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
