JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Facilitating energy conservation by identifying and implementing various solutions for saving energy, leading awareness programs, and monitoring energy consumption.
- To achieve and maintain optimum energy utilisation, to minimise energy costs/waste without affecting production & quality
- Conducting energy audits and evaluations to assess the energy efficiency in operations. Identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption. Recommending energy-saving technologies and practices.
- To supervise the keeping of records on efficient management of electrical energy at the installation and verify its accuracy; and To ensure the timely submission of information and reports under the regulations.
- Familiar with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024
Requirements
- Candidates can be a Facilities Manager at present
- Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's Degree
- Candidates must have some knowledge of Energy Savings and be willing to focus on the areas of the job scope related to Energy Savings. Further training will be provided.
- Candidates with ESG or RBA knowledge and experience will be an added advantage
