JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

To manage and align Finance executives and to plan out Finance operations to ensure financial performance management, accurate accounting, tax financing and cash flow management

Responsibilities

  • To review monthly management accounts and reports from Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC), identify issues and advise FSSC to ensure accurate accounting, cash flow management and tax computation for a company or a group of companies
  • To compile and prepare cash flow projections to achieve a clear understanding on the cash flow position of the company to ensure that the company’s commitments are met.
  • To review auditor's report and to minimize number of audit adjustment.
  • To ensure completion of Development Expenditure Elimination in a timely manner in preparation for audit.
  • To prepare accurate tax estimation to avoid penalties and minimize over estimation, subsequently to submit tax returns.
  • To prepare loan papers and assist with related issues and loan documentations.
  • To review, administer and propose guidelines, best practices, SOPs and related legislations to ensure compliance as well as effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualification

  • Professional qualification i.e. Degree in Accounting, ACCA, etc.
  • Preferable MIA member

Experience

  • Min 6 years of working experience - preferably with 2 - 4 Years in Accounting and Audit firms.
  • Working experience with a Property Developer is a key requirement.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards Strong knowledge on tax matters, importance and impact of compliance
  • Computer literate, i.e: MS Excel
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
